“ I liked the location of the property being close to places within walking distance like the Wilderness railway. The room was neat and tidy and was generally quiet during my four-night stay. My only frustration was with the tv in the room as many a time the 'no signal' message popped up. Other than that it is a nice place to stay, and I enjoyed a Sunday dinner in their restaurant. ”

“The staff (I forgot to ask his name) on the night shift (16th May) was amazing. He gave us a pack of instant noodles and some bananas, as all the dinner places around the area were closed. Very kind and useful.”

“A delightful hotel in a picturesque part of Tasmania. We stayed two nights and enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds, playing pool and sitting in front of the fireplace. The hotel has a wonderful ambience and the service provided by Hugo was excellent. We would definitely stay again.”

“This property was amazing. The views were spectacular. The kitchen had a good few staples but the coffee machine was a welcome bonus. The only thing I could find fault with was, there weren't enough hooks for coats near the front door. But please choose this place to stay in Strahan ”

“Ok this is an old building and we should appreciate that. The room facilities were basic (the shower head leaked reducing pressure, one electrical blanket did not work and the general cleaning could be better) we thought that the continental breakfast layout could be better to reduce congestion. The breakfast was toast, cereal and limited fruit. Tea and coffee was available. The location was excellent over the road from the railway. The staircase is magnificent . “Very nice studio room - had everything one could need in a compact and comfortable space. Very nice water view and walkable for persons with reasonable ability/fitness. Otherwise very short drive to any part of Strahan. Host was very prompt in communication. Check-in and out was all incredibly easy. Be aware that studio is a carport away from multi bed cottage, and any movement of that guest’s vehicle is very noticeable. ”

“Went in with low expectations, but it turned out to be a pleasant stay for the price. The amenities were good, especially the inclusion of a small kitchen which made things quite convenient. The room was reasonably comfortable and had everything needed for a short stay. The facilities are a bit dated and it does show in certain areas, but they are still functional and well-maintained. “We loved our stay at the Crays. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. Easy walk into Strahan and the host made sure we knew all the attractions we should visit. Also the restaurant across the road is excellent. ”
